Core Pantry LLC ("Core Pantry," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Core Pantry kitchen-management service.
By creating an account or using Core Pantry, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use Core Pantry. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not access another person's account, bypass security controls, or use Core Pantry unlawfully.
2. The service
Core Pantry provides web-based kitchen-management functionality, including Inventory, Use First, Shopping, Personal Recipe Book, and optional premium automation. Current plan features and limits are shown on the Core Pantry website and in the Service and may evolve over time. Core Pantry is currently intended for users in the United States.
3. Core Pantry Plus
As of September 24, 2026, Core Pantry Plus costs $4.99 USD per month, plus applicable taxes.
Plus is an automatically renewing monthly subscription. There is no free trial. By purchasing Plus, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel. Stripe processes web subscription payments. Core Pantry does not store your full card number or CVV.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel Plus through Core Pantry's available billing-management controls.
Normal cancellation:
- stops future automatic renewal
- keeps your Core Pantry account open
- ordinarily keeps Plus active through the already-paid billing period
Cancellation of Plus does not delete your account or kitchen data.
5. Founding Member and grandfathered pricing
Core Pantry Plus launches at a Founding Member Price of $4.99 USD per month. If Core Pantry increases the advertised Plus price for new customers, continuously subscribed existing Plus customers will remain at the subscription price applicable when they subscribed. Core Pantry will not automatically increase an existing uninterrupted Plus subscriber's price merely because new-customer pricing increases. If your subscription ends or lapses and you later subscribe again, the then-current Plus price may apply.
6. Refunds
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable and are not prorated for unused portions of a billing period except:
- where required by law
- for duplicate charges
- for billing errors
- where Core Pantry chooses to provide another remedy
Nothing in these Terms limits a non-waivable consumer right.
7. Permanent account deletion
Permanent account deletion is different from canceling Plus.
Successful deletion:
- ends account access immediately
- stops future Plus billing first
- removes private account-owned Core Pantry data
- cannot normally be undone
Unused paid time is not ordinarily prorated or refunded except under the refund exceptions above. Limited billing, security, support, or legal records may be retained or de-identified where reasonably necessary. See the Privacy Policy and Account Deletion page.
8. User content
You retain ownership of content you create and own, including your Personal Recipe Book and private kitchen information. You grant Core Pantry a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and operate the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not violate law or another person's rights.
9. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Core Pantry unlawfully
- access another user's data
- bypass authentication, subscriptions, or usage limits
- attack or interfere with the Service
- introduce malicious code
- abuse automated/API functionality
- scrape private areas of Core Pantry
- commit fraud or manipulate billing
We may use reasonable technical safeguards and limits to protect the Service.
10. Food, health, and automated-feature disclaimer
Core Pantry is an organizational kitchen-management tool. It is not a food-safety authority and does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietetic advice. Expiration information and Use First are organizational aids and do not guarantee whether food is safe or unsafe.
AI Kitchen may contain AI-generated errors. Receipt Scan may misread products, quantities, or prices. Barcode information may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Users are responsible for reviewing automated results, product labels, ingredients, allergy risks, food condition, manufacturer information, and appropriate authoritative guidance before relying on them. Core Pantry does not guarantee allergy safety, cross-contact protection, religious dietary compliance, or suitability for a medical condition.
11. Third-party services
Core Pantry relies on third parties such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, OpenAI, Google, and Open Food Facts. Third-party services may have their own terms, policies, availability, and limitations. Core Pantry is not responsible for independent third-party acts or omissions except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
12. Advertising
Core Pantry may display advertising on selected pages. Plus is not guaranteed to be completely ad-free. Core Pantry does not intentionally provide advertisers with private Inventory, Recipe Book, Shopping, receipt-source, dietary/allergy, or account-email data for their own direct marketing. 13. Service changes and availability
Core Pantry may update, replace, suspend, or discontinue features and reasonable usage limits. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where a material change affects a paid subscription, we will provide notice where required by law.
14. Suspension or termination
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of fraud, abuse, security risks, payment issues, unlawful activity, material violation of these Terms, or legal requirements.
15. Warranties and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Core Pantry is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties not expressly stated here. Core Pantry does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free data, AI accuracy, receipt accuracy, barcode accuracy, or food-safety outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Core Pantry LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Core Pantry's total aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid Core Pantry during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- $100 USD
These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, except where non-waivable federal or state law applies. Core Pantry does not require mandatory arbitration. Disputes will be handled through the ordinary state or federal court system, subject to applicable jurisdiction and non-waivable consumer rights.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Where required, material changes may be communicated through the Service, email, or another appropriate method and may require acceptance before continued use.
18. General terms
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any subscription disclosures you expressly accept form the agreement governing Core Pantry. The English-language version controls if Core Pantry later provides convenience translations.
